Dorcas supports 518 families in Zakho

Zakho is one of the largest cities in the province of Duhok in Northern Iraq, near the Turkish border. Dorcas, together with Medair, supports 518 families in this city;  providing vouchers for the purchase of heaters, stoves, blankets, carpets and clothes from several selected stores in the city.

Deserted buildings

In the Ashi Chami neighbourhood, fifty families, that live in three deserted buildings, were visited for mapping and registration purposes. The buildings are in very poor condition.
